Comply Serve wins BANEDANMARK Signalling Project Contract
Comply Serve, a leading provider of web-based compliance and assurance software solutions, has secured a contract to implement ComplyPro®, its flagship e-collaboration project compliance software systems throughout the Euro 2.5 billion Danish signalling programme.
In an exceptional first for the rail industry, the signalling programme will include the total renewal of the entire signalling infrastructure for both the Copenhagen S-bane (metro system), and Banedanmark’s Fjernbane (railway network). The Banedanmark network includes 2,100 km of lines and 3,200 km of tracks, serving around 560 trains from four major operators; the cost to replace the Banedanmark signal system alone is DKR 18,75 billion.
Commenting on the contract win, Comply Serve CEO, Chris Rolison, said: “The last seven years have seen us strengthen our presence in the railway sector. ComplyPro® is a proven technology implemented in some of the world’s largest, high profile projects, including Crossrail and Etihad Rail in the UAE. Securing the Danish signalling programme is testament to the real benefit and value of our software systems, the fact that previous-users were happy to recommend us, voluntarily, to a project of this size and one with such an ambitious timescale, speaks volumes. We are relishing the prospect of being part of an industry-first, and helping to meet the challenges and timeframes head-on.”
