Innovative new Blade Inspection System launched

Limpet Technology has signed an exclusive 2-year agreement with portfolio company RTS International to provide an innovative blade and turbine inspection system using the skills and expertise from each company. The signatures mark the end of a 2 year R&D Project initiated by RTS International.

The Limpet L5 Blade Inspection System enables technicians to hoist themselves from the ground to the inspection area before descending to ground.

RTS International is the only turbine inspection provider globally to use the Limpet L5 as part of their inspection services.

These benefits also transfer into ensuring works are undertaken more efficiently to help minimise the downtime of the turbines”
