New Board Member joins Monica

Wolfgang Distler joins the Monica Board of Directors, bringing with him a wealth of commercial experience in the medical and other industries. 

Wolfgang was the founder of Reynolds Medical in Germany in 1978, and from 1991 until  2003 he was Managing Director of Reynolds Medical UK, growing the business and successfully managing the merger with the Ferraris Group in 2001 and the acquisition of  Del Mar Medical in the US in 2002.

In 2004 as VP for M&A in I&S as part of Siemens AG, he was responsible for acquisition of US Filter, a 1.2 billion business. From 2005 he was CEO of Inge AG, now part of German chemical company BASF, leading the the company until 2010. 

Since 2010 Wolfgang has worked as consultant for medical and water purification companies. Wolfgang’s high level experience of the global medical device industry will help guide Monica through the coming years.
