Trio Healthcare develops, manufactures and distributes a range of innovative silicone-based ostomy care products, designed to provide stoma patients, such as those with ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, with access to products that are gentler to the skin.

Trio was poised to commercialise an innovative new product with clear patient benefits and advantages to disrupt a multi-billion-dollar market. The company had developed the product, was manufacturing at scale in the UK and was poised for significant growth. The company had very strong leadership with a record of success delivering similar products and exits in similar stage companies.  Catapult provided a loan through the GM&C Fund, which was repaid in 2023.
